A wave of negative energy rolled off of Jeremiah and over Topher. Unwittingly, he ingested the energy and felt it feeding his own self. Instantly, he felt just a little bit stronger. Animus happily rumbled inside of him, but Topher quelled the little monster's stirrings.
"Hey, hold on now." Truth be told, there was a wide variety of guys in the X-Mansion. Not a lot of them swung his way.
